Some of the best pilots in the Coast Guard are trained here, and the center is responsible for ensuring proper pilot certification. Pilots train on various aircraft such as HH 65, HC 25, HC 130 (Hercules) or HH 60. Their motto is Semper Paratus, because the Coast Guard is always ready to jump into action.
